How we add value for customers in China

Appointed Perkins distributor LSHM further strengthened the bond between its far-reaching network of regional service dealers at a packed annual conference.

Shanghai-based Lei Shing Hong Machinery (LSHM) held a blockbusting two-day conference for all its dedicated dealers at the company headquarters in Kunshan

LSHM has been an appointed Perkins distributor in China for the past decade and has enjo yed a remarkable rate of growth. Its dedicated team of service dealers has been instrumental in that success. Every day, they build close customer relationships in their local communities, which provide a strong platform for wider success.

The conference welcomed both senior Perkins and LSHM employees, along with dealers from all provinces and municipalities managed by LSHM, across both eastern and northern China. It was the ideal opportunity to share successes from the past year and underline a shared vision for continuing to serve and delight its customers.

Defining the future

The event kicked off with LSHM Perkins parts sales manager, Yu Qing, giving a short presentation on the business’ ambitious goals and aftermarket strategy.

Next, guest speakers from Perkins – North Asia parts manager Rachel Chen, service manager Tony Miao and Asia Pacific distributors development manager Janet Zhang – reiterated their support for distributors and dealers and showcased the latest aftermarket offerings.

The conference’s opening day concluded with Huang Jing, LSHM parts operation manager, sharing her advice on parts stocking and inventory management. Ms Huang assured dealers that LSHM will work closely with Perkins to provide full support to dealers at any time, wherever they’re located.

LSHM Perkins took the time to celebrate too, as it announced the results of a ‘commission award scheme’ that recognises outstanding contributions. Ningbo Risheng Power Technology Co. Ltd. Was named winner of the Sales Excellence Award. Ms Liu Qiuai, Risheng Power’s general manager, collected the "giant cheque" from Rachel Chen on behalf of the company.

On the second day, delegates enjoyed a visit to Exxon Mobil's plant in nearby Taicang city, where Perkins® Diesel Engine Oil is produced.

A successful conference strengthened the bond between LSHM dealers in the east and north of the country, which is sure to benefit the business and the customers it serves across China.
